Celebrating the Promotion of Dr. Jacqueline Mogle!

Dr. Jacqueline Mogle, co-director of the ReMind Lab, was recently promoted to Associate Research Professor in Penn State’s Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center. Her research focuses on examining early indicators of changes in psychological and cognitive health associated with normative and non-normative aging. Dr. Mogle started her career at Penn State in 2011 as a Post-Doctoral Scholar. Today, she has 90+ publications and serves as both co- and primary investigator on several grants funded by the National Institute on Aging.

Dr. Mogle’s R01 grant, titled “Improving assessment of subjective memory impairment for detecting Alzheimer’s disease: A coordinated analysis in two measurement burst studies,” examines daily memory problems to determine aspects of memory problems that may be better predictors of future cognitive decline. The overall goal of this work is to inform and impact clinical assessments for earlier identification of individuals at higher risk for cognitive decline. Dr. Mogle is also a Co-Investigator on Dr. Nikki Hill’s R01 grant that examines links between memory perceptions and Alzheimer’s disease risk.

Dr. Mogle was recently invited as a guest on the Methods Matter Podcast, where she spoke as an expert on multi-level modeling. Check it out HERE.

Congratulations, Dr. Mogle on your promotion and accomplishments this year. The ReMind Lab members are extremely proud of you!
